Personally, I'd prefer to be able to pop into a game, get some stuff done in a relatively short period, then log off, yet still feel like I was able to accomplish something, as you would have a higher rate of gains for a given time investment than you'd get from a grindathon type game. Online games basically always limit player progression to extend the life of the game, this would largely be done in two ways, limit the amount of content that can be consumed over time, like with a stamina system, or limit your rate of gains, which is what you get in those grindathon games that basically expect you to devote many hours a day to keep up, with some also enforcing that with open PvP. Games with stamina systems are for those that want to be able to play a game, without having to grind all day. Doesn't the game have an energy/stamina system that limits the core part of the game?
